Sunflower season is always my favorite time of year, especially as there are so many sensory and learning opportunities.
Here are some of the activities we have done with flowers throughout the year:
- Flower Arranging - Water play with flowers - Made edible flower cookies - Flower Threading through cardboard - Matching - Frozen flower ice cubes - Examined sunflower seeds with a magnifying glass - Planted herbs and flowers - Learn the different parts of a flower - Play dough matching the colour of the flower
